Adopt a Room
We are launching an exciting new project at MSVH called, Adopt a Room. A wonderful team of supporters is assembling to renovate the children’s residential cottages. While the children’s rooms are functional they do have a serious case of that “lived in look.” Let’s make those spaces warm, bright and cheerful; rooms that they can personalize with their artwork, and have adequate room to store their belongings. Our plan is for each child to have a freshly painted bedroom, new desk, dresser, bed and bedding. We will also update the paint and flooring throughout the cottages including the kitchens.

Place with a Heart
Campaign
The month of April is National Child Abuse Month. The mere fact that we need to dedicate a month to raising awareness of our nation’s child abuse and neglect epidemic certainly saddens us all. But it also highlights the importance of providing a safe and loving home for the many devastated children among us.
Everyday, there ia a
dramatic shortfall in the funding MSVH receives and the actual cost of caring
for a child at our facility. Your gift is critical in helping us close
the gap – it allows us to continue offering the nurturing, healing environment
for our children that was started by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth over
125 years ago.
Our goal is to raise $200,000 (25% of what we urgently need to raise to ensure our children’s safety and care) If you would like more information or want to make a donation, please contact Kay Mcdowell, 303-458-7220 x346 or kmcdowell@msvhome.org
